Complicated, unusual or severe cases may be referred within the Institute for further guidance.

Ibn al-Qaiyum RA mentions that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was cupped on his head when he was afflicted with magic and that it is from the best of cures for this if performed correctly - Zaad al Ma’aad 4/125-126
Hazrat Anas ibn Maalik RA narrated that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said ‘Indeed the best of remedies you have is Hijama (Cupping)’ - Sahih Al Bukhari
Jabir bin 'Abdullah RA narrated that he paid Al-Muqanna a visit during his illness and said, "I will not leave till he gets cupped, for I heard Allah's Messenger saying ‘There is healing in cupping’ - Sahih Al Bukhari
